Because they were different

They were mocked
Deprived
Pierced
Because they were different

They were hung
Pursued
Hated
Because they were different


Because of their skin
Because of their eyes
Because of their hair
They had nothing

But they had worth
They had strength
They had courage
They had will
They fought
For life
For equality
For freedom
For liberty
For justice
For me
For you
For us
